On arrival we were greeted with champagne in a stunning bar beautifully decorated and furnished in the hotels unique style. Thank you to all the staff at Iniala, who made our stay very special, and a very big thank you to Danny the manager, for making sure that our stay at Iniala was one to be remembered. It’s a five star luxury experience but with a difference for sure. Daring to be different is what is remembered, and this hotel delivers this. This was such a pleasant surprise for me, myself being from the north of England, and it put a big smile on my face.

My two favourites on the menu are “The Full Brexit’ full English breakfast and a bacon and egg butty. This extensive breakfast menu offers traditional breakfasts from around the world. The breakfast the following morning at Iniala was one of the highlights for me. He is an absolute gentleman and the perfect dinner host. Boban, who was our butler-style waiter for the evening helped to make this dining experience even more memorable. We had an extraordinary four course meal which was truly a tasting sensation. Dinner was a wonderful fine dining experience. The bedrooms are very tastefully designed, with underfloor heating and I had an early morning soak in the Victoria & Albert bath whilst looking out over the harbour, as the sun shone through the French windows. This five star luxury hotel has still managed to capture a very strong personal touch here. What I really loved about staying at Iniala was how at home I felt. The hotel has been elegantly restored, showcasing an original grand staircase, a magnificent ceiling painting, and one of the highlights of the design aspect of the hotel is the bar, a beautifully designed wooden structure, exquisitely accentuating the original old stone arch. The traditional Maltese balconies are painted the most beautiful colour of blue, which is a stunning contrast to the old Maltese stone.
The hotel is made up of a number of old reformed properties, positioned along the tree lined sea front. The location of the hotel is perfect, overlooking the Grand Harbour and with the most incredible views of Malta’s historical past, views of Fort St. We recently stayed at the Iniala Harbour House Hotel in Valletta, to celebrate my Mother’s birthday.
